@lanlyn re the riding couple - did you check their relation to their horse? I assume the relation between horse and riding sim makes a huge difference.

My nomadic cowboy, Logan Wagoner, and his mare, Daring Reins.
They move from camp to camp (I randomize in which world they go and how long they stay), living a free life.

Their second stop in Copperdale was cut short because of bad weather (or that's what the event randomizer said), so they moved in Sulani, right under the volcano in Mua Pelam. So far, they are enjoying their stay and rides along the beach.

@Simmerville Good suggestion! I just went into my game to double-check this. The relationships with the horses are pretty much the same for both sims. I did notice though that after Gertrude hit level 4 in riding, she's looking more competent. The thing is, Will was doing better even at lower riding levels. But Gertrude gained the Likes Horse Riding attribute while Will hasn't yet. So, maybe it had to do with moods at the time? Experience. Sims really are unpredictable. ?

@Lenny_Ogg I haven't been concentrating on selling the wool, except when I collect a lot. I'd never spent much time having sims cross stitch, so with this easy way to get colorful wool, I decided to let these two sims work on that. They kept doing it autonomously anyway. Seemed to enjoy it. ? So I sell their finished hoops instead of wool.

The couple earn money in the part-time fishing career, and also selling extra milk, eggs, fish, produce, and horse manure. ? They're advancing in nectar making too--the bottles are still aging. And they occasionally sell flower arrangements from the flowers they grow.

BTW, I downloaded this lot from the Gallery, but modified it quite a bit for the horse ranch expansion. The original was 2 Old Mill Ranch by relishturtle3.

Also, @Lenny_Ogg I just checked the sell price of black wool. I had no idea! ? One unit is worth 200 simoleons for normal quality and 300 for excellent. Regular wool is 40 (normal) and 60 (excellent) simoleons per unit.

Meanwhile, Tammy refuses to go across the bridge over the waterfall in Tartosa's Terra Amorosa neighbourhood. Same with the small log bridge in the Bramblewood in Henford-on-Bagley. That's one brave horse!
