If it was Rockstar or another company, making the Sims 5 I would say we need to move on to Sims 5 already. However its EA. As much I would be happy with Sims 5 being released I remember from past iterations of Sims games online where we could play amongst ourselves online it was bad. It was wonky and the community wasn't too impressed by it.
In order for Sims 5 to be a good online game, they need to look at how their competitors make it succeed. They need to learn from past mistakes and actually listen to what the community wants.
