The Sims 4 is six years old now, is it time to move on?

The path they are taking with Sims 4 has been planned out an long time ago and I do not forsee them putting in any more robust features if they did any at all. For me the only thing I see them doing is putting out content like items and some of restricted packs. They can only go so far with this version before they realize that it is time to something else. I am not holding my breath on Sims 5 as Sims 4 soured whatever peps I have had for this series.
