Sure if they want to do a better job. The “foundational technology” issues on their own should have been the green light for a new game. Not like we haven’t heard that before to excuse the lack of development on heavily requested features and content.
Sims 4’s technology is nothing to boast about and it’s aged so bad in just 6 years. Cities Skylines, Planet Coaster, Planet Zoo.. all better simulations, better creative tool sets, better game support from a smaller developer (and none require a high-end super computer thanks). What’s Maxis excuse? Aren’t they a professional game developer owned by the biggest video game publisher in the world?
