The good: I like the look of what this stuff pack has to offer, it's pretty cute and I do like the look of the new pet and all the rodent tubes for the walls. That's pretty cool.
The bad: I'd be lying if I said I had no issues with this, I've appreciated everything Sims 4 has to offer so far because whilst it's not been perfect it's been pretty neat in it's own right and most bugs do get ironed out, and I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to what others might deem bad content or something not worth buying.
However, the only reason I'll be buying this pack, even though I do like the content within it, is because when the Sims 4 ends I want to have brought every pack either during or close to their release times. I honestly believe these things could have been included in another pack somehow, like simmers who don't have cats and dogs can still buy and install the pack it would just have a bit pieces of extra content for cats and dogs if cats and dogs were installed.
I was also pretty disappointed to find out the jungle pack didn't come with any new dogs clothes and I don't know what to think about the fact that I have to buy separate stuff packs for animal things, and also that this is "my first animal stuff" pack, implying there will be more.
What would be more acceptable to me at least, is if EA released themed stuff and/or game packs that include pets without relying on cats and dogs. Having a pack for farm animals and a pack for cold blooded animals would be good and ok with me.
And because I'm not going to finish off on the bad, here's more good:
Game devs, I do appreciate the hard work you've put into this game. Not just this stuff pack but the game overall. It's not as graphically intense as TS3 was, sure, but it is really and I do appreciate the lengths you guys go to make the content look good as it does. And I'm sure I will like this stuff pack even though I don't particularly want to pay for it.
I just have issues with the business practices side of things.
