Oh dear.
I'm honestly most surprised they thought this would be received well, at all.
This stuff should have been in C&D, along with birds, horses, feed-able fish.
The fact we only got a Cats & Dogs expansion, instead of Pets, is a problem in itself. Performance issues are a weak excuse, they should try and limit them as much as possible, but not at the expense of important features. Frankly I would have been fine waiting longer for a complete Pets expansion, I would even have been willing to swap out the vets career for... actual pets, although I don't think we should be playing a game of 'If you have this, you can't have that'.
