The Sims 4 on PS5 and Xbox Series X?

There would be no reason to rerelease the game on next gen consoles. The game runs at max settings on the base models currently, so there would be nothing to gain from the new hardware.
Microsoft has confirmed every Xbox one game will be backwards compatible on series X. Sony hasn’t said much about BC for their first party games, or third party, but I would assume every PS4 game will be BC on Ps5 eventually. I don’t see any reason Sony can’t emulate PS4 unless they learned nothing from their issues with PS3.
