I remember when they said that part about retroactively changing terran breaking out saves. By now it would be worth it for me, but I understand that this would be very selfish. I'm also hoping for beach activities that make up for the lack of swimming everywhere, maybe a portable volleyball net or a beach ball that goes into inventory and can be used from there everywhere we want to.
But do you all remember the mod that made Granite Falls into a tropical world? In one of the last versions they added an interaction to the fishing spots that made our sims walk a few paces from there and then they started the splashing animation from the fountain (or puddles). It gave the impression they were having fun in the lake :) I'd be perfectly okay with a similar solution for the existing worlds.
