Did the vanity allow TS2 to use the apply makeup animation? I don't think it did.
In TS2 the vanity works like a mirror with the option of Change Appearance (face only). Sims can also makeover other sims (again, player controlled Change Appearance). But there was no exclusive apply makeup animation/interaction.
So this is the first sims game we'll have the applying makeup animation. That's what I thought.
