I'm all for plumming on Maxis/EA when they get extra blatant with their greed but...I don't think that's the case with this. In what way do butlers and apartment/urban living go hand in hand?

I did mention in another post - San Myshuno isn't all urban living. I thought a butler would have fitted nice for my rich families living in the swanky apartments in Uptown. Just a thought.

Others have mentioned it may have suited better with Get Together, which is the same point I was making - justa different EP. :)

Sounds fun. With the Get Together pack, the butlers from prominent homes can start a club to gossip about the families. Or two butlers can get married from opposing families. Of course, one of the butlers will have to be a thief and sell things at the flea market. Maybe they can buy stuff for the house that the masters won't like, maybe a sad clown poster.

Does anyone know, will the Butler live with my Sims? Or is it more like the nanny?

This looks like a great SP. Can't wait!

According to Simguru Graham the butler will live in your house, you can give him a bed and even lock certain doors for him.

Problem being is butlers are still unplayable npc sims so you have no control over them unless you set them up with another butler.
