Well I'll be plummed. This actually looks nice. Maxis has really been on a role lately with making the auxiliary packs look like they have more care put into them than the expansions.
My only gripe is that it's more "glamour" stuff. As if this game isn't already filled to the brim with that. But at least it's vintage...so they're slightly shaking things up.
Yeah I can hardly wait to see what they do with SP 10."TheBristolSimmer;15372952" wrote:
Ok - I'm not pooping all over this, as I will most likely end up buying this pack as well as the ones before it - BUT...
We all know that the butler should have been included with the apartment feature which was in City Living.. TS4 is very sneaky. Shifting items and features out of their naturally fitting packs into different packs so that more will buy them. Probably wouldn't have bought this pack if the butler wasn't included. I have to say, it's smart. Makes more money, who can blame them!?
I'm all for plumming on Maxis/EA when they get extra blatant with their greed but...I don't think that's the case with this. In what way do butlers and apartment/urban living go hand in hand?- TheBristolSimmer9 years agoNew Veteran

I did mention in another post - San Myshuno isn't all urban living. I thought a butler would have fitted nice for my rich families living in the swanky apartments in Uptown. Just a thought.
Others have mentioned it may have suited better with Get Together, which is the same point I was making - justa different EP. :) - elizabethjane8189 years agoSeasoned AceSounds fun. With the Get Together pack, the butlers from prominent homes can start a club to gossip about the families. Or two butlers can get married from opposing families. Of course, one of the butlers will have to be a thief and sell things at the flea market. Maybe they can buy stuff for the house that the masters won't like, maybe a sad clown poster.
- Does anyone know, will the Butler live with my Sims? Or is it more like the nanny?
This looks like a great SP. Can't wait! - alanmichael19 years agoSeasoned AceHow clever we were predicting correctly the makeover table and the butler :D .

According to Simguru Graham the butler will live in your house, you can give him a bed and even lock certain doors for him. - uggggh! Sounds absolutely horrible
#WeWantToddlers - Not a bad look but you need another world like Roaring Heights again ;)

Problem being is butlers are still unplayable npc sims so you have no control over them unless you set them up with another butler.
