We've got a lot of news to cover this month so I'll keep this intro brief. We've recently unveiled lots of new and exciting content in The Sims 4, and we've got a lot left to show you in the weeks ahead!

This month's news and announcements:
- On the 13th, we got a look into this season's steamy roadmap, Season of Love, which will include two free fashionable updates and an alluring new expansion pack! You can swoon over the details on this roadmap in the article here.
- On the 14th, the Blooming Rooms kit was released for free on the EA app, Origin and Steam. This offer will only be available for a limited time, so if you haven't yet, be sure to claim it here!
- The 14th also brought us a new SDX drop just in time for summer, which included several new swimsuit swatches.
- On the 16th, the Official Sims Shop restocked some fan favorite items- so if you haven't grabbed that adorable Freezer Bunny Plush yet, now's your chance!
- And finally, the 30th brought us two new kits, Riviera Retreat and Cozy Bistro! Be sure to check out the article here for more details on these cozy new kits.
Patches and updates:
- On the 28th, a new base game update was released which included a number of bug fixes, an update to the Gallery, and enabled the use of DirectX 11 for PC users. There's quite a lot included with this update, so you'll definitely want to check out everything in the notes here!
Notable threads:
- We'll be starting this month off with a gameplay question from @BylineBelife, who wants to know which table or stall you prefer to use when selling items. We've got some great options to choose from, but my personal favorite is always the Salvadorian Craft Sells Table. I typically sell items in my rags to riches playthroughs, and with this table being the cheapest option, it's always my go-to. But which table is your favorite- do you prefer the simple yet modern style of the Ground Floor Entrepreneur's Table, or would you rather use the stylish Anywhere Any Fare Food Stand? Be sure to share with us which stall is your favorite and why!
- Up next, we have this nostalgic rotational gameplay story by @belalucina who is currently playing The Sims 1 in The Sims 4! This story takes places in a recreated version of Sim Lane, with new renditions of each classic family, like The Pleasants, The Roomies, and of course The Goths. This week, the focus has been on The Newbies as they settle into their new home, look to start their careers, and spend a little too much time with the Tragic Clown. If you've been looking to take a stroll down Sims memory lane, you'll definitely want to check out this sentimental story!
- And finally, for all our talented builders out there, @simishgamer has started a Weekly Build Challenge! Every week, a new shell will be available with a specific theme you'll need to stick to. There are a few rules to each challenge, like price range and limited edits to the shell. This week, your challenge is to build a container home for under 75k simoleons - interior and exterior designs are all up to you, so be sure to show off your creative side and share your builds with us! Don't forget to check back each week for the newest challenge and showcase those building skills.
