The Sims x MAC = Sims Eye Shadows

I don't wear makeup in real life but those are some pretty colors. I would have liked those for the game. The only MAC stuff I use in the game are the lipsticks, mainly the matte one.

They pretty obviously just repackaged an old palette, there's nothing Sims about this. That's a little lame. I think a Sims palette should have some iconic shades, like Plumbob green or Bella Goth's red, or Grim Reaper grey, or WooHoo purple... I guess their palette is better for everyday looks, but I just don't see the connection to Sims at all.

eh really what about that palette is even sims

like they have about trillion palettes like that and they didn't even bother naming the shades funny or make cute packaging *sigh*

then again I don't use makeup that much so why should I care ~

just disappointed.

especially cause the shades all look same to me and none apply in my tragic clown makeup style

Someone mentioned it was likely recycled from another palette , so I did some looking.

The exact same color palette with the exact same names. They really did just take an old palette that probably didn't sell, slapped The Sims on it and tried to sell it to us.

It's been fun reading peoples opinions about this makeup on twitter. To me it seems rather like EA is trying to turn The Sims into a brand. I honestly wish they would make as much effort into developing and improving the game as to do into branding and advertising it.

Yikes, I thought for a second they collab with MacBook to release Mac device with plumbob instead of Apple logo.

they really be trying to add plumbob stickers to things and call them sims things

I was only aware of it because it has been the center of conversation on twitter and other social media recently which seems to just add fuel to the fire with people who are disappointed with what EA are doing with the sims4 franchise.

I'm not really interested the product myself, it seems to have very little to do with the sims. I long for the day when we will see something new and exciting from Maxis.
