  • I have a lot of wishes/ideas.

    An open world mechanic.
    Third person camera.
Larger goals that involves multiple sims or households, create a concert, start a company etc.
An engine that is easy to work with, easy to add worlds sims and lots, easy for the development team to add expansions.
Working economy, being able to rent out and buy rooms, lots, cars etc. with this you could implement a hotel system for example.
Being able to customize the world similar to what mc command center does, being able to decide what type of sims you want the world to be populated with etc, or being able to customize autonomy.
Support for challenges, when clicking new game, you can choose to put restrictions or benefits in the game, which makes it possible to make challenges, not be allowed to have jobs for example.
Online events with challenges, for example, one week there is a festival in town and you have a goal with multiple households to do things, such as winning a sport event or something like that.
Online story missions, with rewards, the game adds sims with backstories and you get to play with the sims that they hade added, trying to achieve a goal.
Exploration, you can explore the world and find unlockables, that require you to have a certain skill.
Missions, you can take and do missions from different factions, similiar to what you could do in sims3: world adventures.
Saved outfits for generated sims, the game has 100 or so saved outfits that generated sims wear, so we do not have sims with weird generated outfits anymore. The user can add to this pool and customize the outfits.
Being able to disable features from packs, for example, just loading the CAS and built items from the pack.

  • Obviously Sims 5 isn't coming out next year, but regardless here's my list.

    Life Stages: Newborn (0), Infant (9 mo), Toddler (2), Child (6), Pre-teen (10), Teen (15), Young Adult (18-20s), Adult (30-40), Elder (65+).
Baby stuff like strollers (can also be used by toddlers), play pens, real cribs, baby toys, play dates for babies and toddlers, car seats, etc.
All life stages having equal amount of traits and aspirations (obviously excluding babies-toddler)
    Open neighborhood.
    After school activities.
At least half the total jobs should be active jobs.
Near equal CAS for all ages; meaning babies should also be customizable.
    Active school.
    Diverse NPC families.
    Weather in base game.
    Cars in base game.

But will any of it happen? No :)

Lounge chairs, my pools look so empty without them.

I think it would be nice to have them, but we have nice outdoor tables and other outdoor furniture that looks nice out by a pool too. I would like to see pool games, floats, etc.

  • I would like the ages adjusted just a tiny bit.

    Life Stages: Newborn (0), Infant (9 mo-1-year-old), Toddler (2-4), Child (6-9), Pre-teen (10-12), Teen (15- 16), Young Adult (18-29), Middle age Adult (30-40), Older adults over (40-54), Elder (60+).

I want to see more birthdays with smaller jumps in ages.
Two birthdays per age grouping because it covers a lot of years. Even the option to have a birthday per year. if you want your child to have his 8-year-old birthday we should be able to. Only turning to the next life stage when they are the correct age.

What I hate is how the adults turn to say from in their late 20's next birthday they have bags under their eyes and wrinkles in the forehead, that's not at all reality.

Also with the option to age them fast per life stage as we have it now.

Have anyone in EA/Maxis said we are even getting a Sims 5?

I do like your list, I think they could do most of what you are asking for.
  • I would like to definitely have season's in the base game and all the life stages. I hope to have a genetic system more like sims 2 where they can inherit colouring and looks from their ancestor's. I would also like to have the memory system, photo album, social bunny and therapist back. I would like to shop for clothes, the shops seemed a bit pointless in sims 4 as you could already them for free from a wardrobe. And hopefully no rabbit holes.
