The Suspect is a cop and I can't arrest them.

My sim has their first case and has figured out ALL the clues. Every time we issue an APB, it takes us to a new location, and every time the same person who fits the description of the suspect is there. EXCEPT we can't arrest them. All we can do is ask them about the suspect. This person is also a fellow cop. How do we solve this case? No other person who fits the description ever shows up. I'm not sure what to do. Can anyone offer a solution?

    the way to solve this is to shift right click on on the suspect/officer and select “add to household” then you can quit their job via their phone and then shift right click to remove them from household - i assume the issue is that u can’t arrest an officer so that should solve it
