Do you have Growing Together to add the conversation/sim type likes and dislikes? Because a loner genius who hates mischief and potty jokes, but likes outdoorsy sims, paired with a goofball bro who likes small talk and indoorsy things like mixology but dislikes deep thoughts…
I don't have that one, a pity they'd lock something like that behind an expansion. Then again in my experience, the whole like/dislike system seems pretty pointless since they will just go out of their way to another room to hate dance to their disliked music and then be unhappy.
