I, the player, am visiting the theme park, and seeing Galaxy's Edge through a video-game lens for a fraction of the cost.
My sims are Dai Bendu disciples - Force adepts, but not Jedi - actually hopping between their home system on some unspecified Outer Rim world (I made over the cheap neighborhood in Oasis Springs, because moisture vaporators make sense there) to Black Spire Outpost on Batuu.Spoilerhttps://i.imgur.com/b70QOnZ.png
But that's in a save all it's own. I play Journey to Batuu as it's own sort of side-event to my legacy save."CAPTAIN_NXR7;c-17948834" wrote:
In A Galaxy As Far, Far away as possible!
Also all in its own save, because the Galaxy is huge and Nancy Landgraab & Judith Ward don't live there anymore. I fed them to the sarlacc. Unfortunately they gave the poor beast indigestion. It is what it is.
I haven't yet done a lot with or in Batuu, but both of these sound very much like my own plans for a special save. @Sindocat your Oasis Springs outpost looks awesome! @CAPTAIN_NXR7 I love feeding pre-mades to things, so I don't mind causing some minor indigestion suffered by a few poor creatures. - EgonVM4 years agoSeasoned AceI picked this option because Rey visited my community marketplace... in Willow Creek! And because as it's The Sims universe that has Star Wars costumes, and for me at least, The Sims universe and Star Wars universe are on the different universes. The creator of a universe can put in refrences of the other universes. That's my thinking. Otherwise I would be terrified that there may be... Star Wars threats to my happy sim family.
But yes, it's up to the player. The different opinions, views, thoughts etc is something that makes the world a great and not dull place to live. - Gamer_Cat244 years agoNew TravelerTheme park that is in roleplay mode.

- LiELF4 years agoSeasoned AceOh, it's real. Unfortunately, the void warp when they travel through time and space between Sim Nation and Batuu can have unexpected results. Droids shut down, powers dwindle, technology works differently, memories and identities fade... it's one of those fringe, unexplained sciences that run rampant in my world. Batuu is not far from the Magic Realm so it's also possible that the magical energy of the MR's destructive forces have leaked into the atmosphere as the probable cause for such mysterious anomalies.
- Monet114 years agoNew SpectatorThe Lady Ver is dismayed at the suggestion that her life is nothing more than theme park fodder. Once she has completed destroying the current rulers of House Ver, aka her parents, she will be looking into this insult with keen intent.
- simsimsere4 years agoRising AdventurerI don't have the pack, but the question intrigues me. I think this shows some of the versatility of the Batuu pack and now I'm actually tempted to get it. I don't know yet what it would be for my sims, but kind of leaning towards the option that they'd be travelling to other galaxy.

- I played a lot with Batuu when it came out and I treated it as a real “alien” world. I like Star Wars and I was a little sad that there were such huge limitations on NPCs in Batuu. I really wanted to live my SW dream, lol. But if I was to play there again right now, I would probably play it as theme park, because now I’m totally aware of the limitations and it did broke my immersion few times last year.
- My mad scientist and his family (YA daughter and wife) travel there, it really fits their personalities.
The wife is on the dark side (since she is an oracle on earth), daughter is a scoundrel and the scientist doesnt care for any sides he is there
FOR SCIENCE!
