Especially when one of the tasks is to serve a garden salad, cake, etc. Every time I go to the fridge I get knocked out of the way by a guest. I try to serve the food before I invite them over, but when it's a task to do so during the party it gets annoying.
I think you can make the food ahead of the party, put it in the fridge, then when the task pops up you can drag the item out of the fridge and do the Call To Meal interaction. (I rarely do the prestige parties where you get the rewards so I just do the freeform party and let my guests do what they want -- for Harvestfest I did the Grand Breakfast for my family in the morning, then I did some baking and invited over friends.
