- The thing about Skyrim/Fallout 4 modding on PS4 is that Sony allows mods that are made with the content that already are in the game, but when it comes to custom content aka external assets; they will reject em. Sims 4 mods are mostly built out of external assets sooo yea... the chances for Sims 4 to get mods for the PS4 is probably highly unlikely... Unless Sony gets over themselves and allows external assets... XBox on the other hand is fine with external assets; so all is good there. Sony is kinda being a butt when it comes to mods atm but I do hope they get over it and allow custom content into the games, they are starting to allow cross play which is a start.
- However!!! There if there was a tool to make custom content for sims 4 on the PS4; we'd be able to have mods or something close to it.
I think Bethesda should do this as well for FO4 and Skyrim, but yea. :O - I would like them to introduce mods and custom content to XBOX one, to make some of the people happy, then continue to work on Sony to get it on PS4. I think that catering to half of the costumers is better than leaving them all hanging. This way, some will be happy, and they can get mods and cc out, possibly, to PS4 on a later date. Being and XBOX player, I would LOVE mods in my game, and don't want to wait for Sony to come around when Microsoft is probably fine with it.
- Xbox is usually fine with it, FO4 and Skyrim has mods with external assets on that console which means there will most likely be a yes.
- nikkiheathcote957 years agoSeasoned AceMe personally don't think it's a good idea. Although theirs hundreds of talented creaters out there. I think cc has more trouble than its worth. Everytime the game gets updated it can break cc. So you will need to wait on the creater to update it, too much trouble for me. I think I will stick to a vanilla game regardless , in my opinion I've worked soo hard for my things, wouldn't want to risk it breaking , free content would turn into very expensive content if it broke my console.
- bluebirddevil7 years agoRising AceYeah I have played on pc with cc and then console and I just love console better and without cc plus cc makes the game too much like real life I like all the packs we get that's enough haha
- nikkiheathcote957 years agoSeasoned AceI've played the sims 3 on pc and played with cc , it broke my computer so I'm kind of worried to use cc now . Me personally think the sims 4 don't really need it the clothes are much better, make up and hair are nice aswell.
- Where did they say 'mods will finally come to console soon'? Do you have any evidence other than them wanting to do it? )
- Sorry about the off-topic (it won't let me create a new one), and i am desperate to learn about this.. Do you know when will be available the mouse/keyboard for sims 4 in consoles???? I mean they have already announced it since September 2018. Since then i don't think we have got any news about this.

This tweet/reply about mouse and keyboard is from February 11th. Seems like it might be a while.
