Women do have body hair, it's just usually lighter and finer then that of men, but not all men are hairy either, nor can all men grow facial hair. Some women do grow facial hair. I know those are outliers, but my point is that stereotypes are comfortable, familiar, exclusionary, and limiting.
I do love facial and body hair myself, and find it strange that it was basegame in sims3 but does not exist in sims4.
Agree about there being soooo many pairs of pants, almost none of which are just ordinary, tasteful pants. Yes, they are either ridiculously skin tight, or ridiculously baggy, and a few original basegame ones look like they are straight out the late 1970s, like what Shaggy wore in the original Scooby-Doo.
I don't like lawing through 30 pairs of pants to find anything not strange, bizarre, or "far out" and I prefer not to have to notice what my sims are wearing: it should make them seem believable, not dress them up in freaky costumes all the time.
That's one of the perks of sims3, they didn't try to be so wild and wacky that most of the clothes look like the closet of a 15 year old who wore all the cheapest fads for the moment they were in style but then never got rid of them afterward. Sims 4 clothes don't age well at all. Maybe that was on purpose?
