Things noticed in StrangeVille (sort of a rant)

Here is a list of things I've noticed whilst watching play-throughs of the new game pack: Kitchen on the "Old Penelope" lot is unusable, due to the placement of a decorative fruit bowl. So...

Update: So I know no one has answered my question yet but I continued looking for the missing families and I couldn’t find them in manage households tab. I don’t have aging on either for unplayed households. I’m going to restart the game and see if it works
