Check this box in the options so when you take screenshots, the UI shows up in them. Just crop the image afterward :)
I thought this was common, but I don't think anyone mentioned this yet. You can stick a bathtub in a space with anything blocking the end half (part away from the faucet) and it'll still work. It works like how you can put a desk over a bed and both objects would still be usable. :)
