Thinking of getting Bowling Night stuff

Oooo I was thinking of getting that particular one too when the next sale comes around. I too haven't found many reviews on it but other than that it does look pretty good. (Plus I love to bowl in real life too so that helps definitely. Lol) :)

I bought it but was somewhat disappointed with it. Bowling doesn't feel like a group activity. Nobody interacts with each other. I was hoping it would be another fun group activity for sims of all ages to enjoy. I don't ever send them bowling now.

Wow they don't even interact with each other? That's no good, dude. I was all hyped for this pack but maybe not so much now. :/

No, there's no conversation or interaction between them while bowling. That was the first time I ever felt dissatisfied with a SP.

Sounds a bit like horseshoes or darts, no? They're all bored and it lasts forever.

Honestly, if I could get a refund on this pack, I would.

I had held off on bowling for awhile myself much like a few other packs.

I really just LOVE the furniture more than anything with the mid-century look. The items on CAS are nice and I like the jeans for the males in this one along with the hairstyle, BUT CAS left me wanting as there could have been a lot more added with the rockabilly like feel I got from it. Definitely reminds me of Grease a little, but I was really hoping for some more bomber jackets and leather jackets. So, CAS is lacking the bulk of it is mostly in build/buy mode.

Bowling is pretty much bowling no matter what version of a sims game you look at though I liked it a lot more with Sims 2 a margin better since sims could sit down and chat and watch while waiting for their turn. It doesn't feel like Sims really interact with one another while bowling. Doesn't take long to max out the skill for bowling. I've made some bowling venue's for the sake of a different place than going to a resturaunt or bar for better family outings (added a arcade machine really need smaller ones).

The furniture I use a lot for everything, so it wasn't a big loss or else I'd say this pack was a bigger disappointment. So, if you're into the furniture/decor, a few cas items and possibly bowling or making bowling venues then I say go for it. Even if you're not for bowling I found myself using the objects very often opposed to the bowling lane.

It's one of my TS4 favourite (stuff) packs because it pretty much gives you a new venue.

You will get bowling and a lot of decor items related to bowling it's also a new club activity. The clothes are really nice (has the best denim skinny jeans for males or the only good pair) and I really like the hair, one of the best clothing in SP's imo and it will generate bowling teams that you see in venues bowling together.

My only complaint is that bowling skill seems to take a lot of time to build up (unless I'm doing something wrong). I don't want it to be super fast but it could use a bit of tweaking. A whole day of playing bowling won't get you past half a skill point, you really need to get at it to level up. But it's just nice to be able to take my sims somewhere different. They can take part in a new game/activity other than what we already have and I think it's fun to watvh sims bowl. Though I do wish they would talk while bowling.

Seeing as there's more negative opinions than positives for the pack, I'll just buy it during some sale.

I bought it in the bundle with Parenthood and Vintage Glamour and I'm so happy with it. I rarely take my sims bowling but I really love the objects and CAS-items that come with this pack.
