This is not a clickbait but, yesterday I realized you can randomize sims from the gallery :o This honestly changed my life, it was a pain having to edit every ugly townie and making them at least more human like, if you're like me, please use this useful tool, as it makes your game more diverse, but sometimes you may need to click the randomize button a few times until you get your desired sim.
I'm about half done (maybe) with replacing all the premade Sims with random Sims from the gallery. I named the new save, "Galleria Challenge." lol Most of these Sims are completely intact from when I downloaded them, but a few are changed a little bit to conform to what the original Sim looked like. Most have new clothes, hair color, style, jewelry, etc. If the premade family had children, I used 'play with genetics' on their 'new' parents to get the child/teen. Except for one, Malcomb Landgraab is someone else's teen. I changed all the relationships to match the premades as well.
Most Aspirations/Traits were left to what their creator made for them, including one vampire! But I did change a few back to what they originally had as premades.
A few of these Sims I know who made them, but most I don't, I didn't look at all of the creators. So, if you see your Sim, let me know! Also, I hope you don't mind I used them for this little experiment. I promise to treat them well! It's been a lot of fun and I want to thank everyone who uploads their Sims for others to use. :)
Here's some pics of the 'new' households. I apologize for the 'silly' poses some of these Sims are doing. I literally just downloaded Sims 4 Studio in order to extract the pics and had to go with what they were doing at the time. I put them in a spoiler because they're a little big and there's a dozen or so, I think, didn't count them. lol Anyway, here we go!

The Calientes - Nina, Katrina & Dina + Don Lothario Don has his original premade aspiration/traits. I ended up not using the adult Nina I found to replace Katrina and randomized a different Sim instead.

The Spencer Kim Lewis Family Olivia was made using genetics. I'm amazed I actually found a Dennis Kim lookalike on the gallery to use!

The Jangs I used genetics to get Billie. She and her Dad, Baako both have their original premade aspirations/traits.

Diego Lobo I had a heck of a time finding the pants that match this jacket. For some reason I had to turn off the masculine style for them to appear. I'm guessing they're considered feminine? Or just an option for all genders maybe. I don't know.

And finally,
The Goths All have their original premade aspiration/traits. Cassandra & Alexander were made by playing with genetics. I changed 'Bella's' body style to fit her premade form. No other premade (except maybe Candy Behr) has that narrow of a waist with such a large chest. It's iconic and I wanted it to stay the same. :p

So what do you think, did I do alright? lol I haven't uploaded any of these families as they're not really my created Sims even though I did make some major changes to some and the children/teens were made with genetics so they are actually 'mine' I guess. *shrugs* That being said, if anyone absolutely needs any of these households, let me know and I'll upload them with the disclaimer for the ones I didn't actually 'make' myself.

Ah, I just checked and it is there. :D Not too sure why I never used it but again, could be I tried it long ago and didn't see the need and ever since then, I just ignore the button. :O

LOL..yah, it is there whether or not you are online. It uses sims from YOUR gallery, not the gallery online. So basically any sims you made or downloaded into your gallery.
I'm like many others in this thread though, I didn't notice it ever until just a few months ago.

Oh, I see. That's cool. Yeah, I've never used it. But I don't mind just using the normal randomizer and just adjust from there anyways.
Actually, I did know about that feature for a long time, but it never worked for me then because of this bug and I had completely forgotten about it. Retrying it now I see that it was fixed. I just spent an hour hitting the Randomize button and saving sims to my library, thank you so much for reminding me that feature exists!
Still working on my Galleria Challenge. Only have five more to update right now. I've been working on a new Custom Modified Template and got sidetracked. The families that are left to do are the biggest ones, probably take the longest to do. Anyway, here's the next five:

With this batch I changed their Aspiration/Traits to match the original, changed at least their everyday outfit and some all outfits. Changed hair, clothes, a couple eye and skin colors. For Victor, it was taking forever trying to find an adult male Asian Sim, so I used a young adult female Asian Sim and did a gender swap and aged her up to get Victor. He turned out okay I think. :)
