This game is unplayable
From setting fires everyday whilst level 6 cooking and over $3000 cooker (could have bought a new house but had to replace the damages) to being randomly mean to others. It's really not fun to play anymore

I don't want to stop playing but unfortunately gameplay (mainly live mode) is becoming a frustration for the following reasons:
- It takes ages to get my Sims to do what I want them to do because an action to check their phone or talk to the nearest random townie takes over first.
- The constant obsessive phone checking whilst walking along. What's the point of having amusing walk styles if they are forever going to be interrupted by phone use?
- I can't take my Sims to a community lot without being bombarded by floods of NPC townies (am sure the numbers have increased recently). They always interrupt my sims' conversations, butt in when two of my Sims are trying to spend some quality time together (no it's not okay for you to sit here. My Sims are having a PRIVATE chat!) stand in the way when I'm trying to do a photoshoot and hog all the equipment on a lot so that it takes several attempts for my Sims to actually be able to use a community item.
I wouldn't want no townies at all, but would like to choose when my Sims interact with them and not have every conversation be a free for all.
- Mermaid eyes and scales no longer link to human/land form in my game's CAS, despite having link 'All' checked. I like to make colourful, fantastical looking land walkers but can't currently create any new mermaids the way I used to because of this bug.
- There are options to make outgoing, confident and sports clique (Bro) Sims in CAS but still no Shy trait.* 'Loner,' to me, feels more like introversion than shyness and I am disappointed that after all this time there is still no differentiation between the two in the game.
- The random meanness bug is still not fixed in my game, and it is causing my Sims to gain hurt sentiments nearly every time.
- My Sims relationships with other Sims I have created deteriorates rapidly over a couple of days. Sometimes they forget each other completely. Yet when my sims meet a townie or premade once, they seem to remember them forever and have developed the inexplicable ability to become permanent friends despite never having socialised with said NPC or premade since. Sometimes this has happened with Sims they have never even met. Those are not the relationships I'm interested in developing! This is especially annoying when playing my loner sims as it jars with the personality and stories I'm trying to imagine for them.
- Despite having neighbourhood stories turned off, I am still getting phonecalls from my Sims about relationship advice (and again, my own Sims phone up about people they've never even met or only met once). I am NOT INTERESTED in the relationship drama of the whole neighbourhood! I just want to do my own thing with my own Sims.
- It's not that I don't want any contact with premade or townie Sims but I would like to be able to choose when, where and how much my sims interact with them. The social side of gameplay does seem to have gone a bit overboard. My Sims gain and lose sentiments faster than I can keep up with.
With all of the above, I do feel a little llike I'm having a 'real life' extrovert dating relationship story forced on my gameplay against my will. But that is not how I want to play.
- And finally... the Mischief interaction has been a wasted opportunity. Instead of creative visual pranks, most of the options seem to be an extension of the Mean interaction, some have the same animation as many other speaking interactions and some really should be in Mean because they border on bullying (manipulating people's confidence is not a fun prank to do and shouldn't be classified as such). The Sabotage interaction was especially disappointing. I wanted my Sim to be a master prank puller, not a gaslighter.
* I don't own all the packs so if there is a shyness trait available in one then ignore that particular comment.

I agree that whoever ca.e up with the Mischief options didn't seem to get what harmless mischief is supposed to be. What happened to whoopee cushions and fake flies in your beverage sorts of pranks?
Telling someone "fake terrible news" isn't funny or harmless.
I have to agree with you, the mischief is not what I was hoping for either, and much of it does just seem mean.
