"This interaction is unavailable because a Sim is being escorted" message

I am getting this message on my active Sims whilst on a mission in Batuu where you have to round up citizens in the First Order District. The game does not seem to run after this message. Is this a g...

I have had sims on first order missions being escorted out of the resistance camp. In their action que I saw the face of the Sim that is throwing them out. They would first have a fight and then they are escorted to the edge of the resistance camp. After a loading screen they would be back in the neighborhood with the dwelling. This is as far as I know how the 'being escorted' should work. Just to clarify what this message is supposed to be about. My game didn't freeze or something like that.
