This is actually insulting: A veteran simmers last straw.

At no point do I not take responsibility for my own choice to keep buying/playing the sims, as angry as I am at EA/The Sims, there is also some anger toward myself for refusing to look at the overall ...

This is one of the many reasons why I refuse to upgrade to the sims 4 -.- when it was released no pools nor toddlers :/ it's like your game packs are just becoming ads, the sims 2 and 3 when they have branded stuff packs at least the shoved a lot of stuff to make it worth while.
