The whole thing is speculation. It has not been confirmed by EA. This is how drama and hype starts. Play your game and wait for the packs to be announced.
I like to wait for the packs to come because when all the packs ate done you get a new game new expense and same old packs. Hopefully improved on. But that is not a given. Have fun simming and leave the speculation to this forum is my advice..
