For all we know, it could be more than just dogs and cats. Maybe an active Veterinarian career which will work the way GTW doctors should have worked, with a place you can take your pets when they're sick or for grooming. Maybe pet shops, with the ability to own/run your own if you have GTW installed. Maybe even werewolves -- they made the best pet trainers in Sims 2. The only thing we're pretty sure about is that there won't be horses -- and how do they really work in a closed-world where you ride two steps and are immediately transported to your destination? I'd prefer them in a farming/rural pack, maybe with a special lot where you can board them then go to ride and train them, and compete with other Sims in racing or agility drills.
Mmm idk about the active careers, I mean it seems a bit odd to add the same feature as a whole EP we payed for.
What I do think is that IF horses weren't in this EP (cause we still don't know) I think they could be working on a farming GP. This year they have surprised us, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. Horses were found in the code initially so if for some reason they weren't able to work on them for this EP, I think they could be saving them for later on. Also even though it's for sure that we are getting pets cause of the codes found, EA hasn't officially announced them, they haven't even mention them, so it seems a bit too early to start going crazy about it.
