This was basically what made me stop playing as well. There's a lack consequences that just makes the game bland and boring. That and the sims are happy all the time. The happy environment buffs are way too strong and overpower every other mood. It's very annoying. When I do play, I have to use mods to make the game interesting. And, unfortunately, the fact that I have to rely on mods to make the game entertaining, makes me not want to play at all! I haven't played the game in months!
We've been complaining to them for years, but all they do is add more shallow gameplay and set dressings, nothing that impacts the core gameplay. I'm tired and bored of it
