I love TS 2 and it is my favorite but Sims 3 just expanded the possibilities that was not present in Sims 2 but in the process sims lost an little bit of their soul. I loved the new features it did have and was glad the quarter of an block was gone. In Sims 4 the sims lost all their soul as well as many features that kept me in the game. Do I care about what was active outside the lot, not really as I still was able to make my own worlds and edit them which you can't with Sims 4 as the neighborhoods still look the same and you cannot grow within the neighborhood so you have to expand in another neighborhood even if that is not your wish so creativity is still lessened and the motto "You Rule" or "Challenge Everything" has less on an meaning. There is an lot of fuss because most knew what was available and what is not now available. If Sims 4 came first most would be okay with how Sims 4 was programmed but it was not so comes the fuss and will continue to be until this version goes into an non productive cycle.
