Cottage Living
wholeheartedly recommend!
only downside that comes to mind atm is that it doesn't come with lots of b/b
so I always mix with DU, GT, C&D and such for building
but I just love having some animals and small hobbies like cross stitching
and I literally could not live without Agnes Crumplebottom
the big harvestables and in ground planting is must have for me
since it looks so much nicer than the usual plants and pots we have for gardening
same goes for baking and having the whole growing your own food thing
its just so much more fun with this pack
also I feel like you don't have to be in henford
to have fun with the gameplay things which is nice
and world itself slots nicely into many kinds of stories
from detective stories to fantasy to period drama to who knows what
also even if the big farm animals are not your vibe theres bunnies and foxes and birds to have fun with :)
Eco Lifestyle
I'm personally more meh about this pack
but thats because I don't play much with modern thingies
and using machines as gameplay never really excites me
I do think it will be useful if/when I play something futuristic/scifi though or with like urbz theme
and this one matches more with like foxbury type of things from DU if you are into that kind of gameplay
I also find that it matches good with Get To Work and having dodgy polluted neighborhoods and all that
and the glorified trash can is useful yes for about every build I have I add one of those
Cats and Dogs
You mean you don't like my hairstyle? how rude of you
yeah, thats pretty much one thing I use from this pack over and over, hairstyle for my simself
and my cat Dork ofcourse, couldn't exist without this pack, at least not in his cat form.
(maybe he would be using shapeshifting magic and be a cow instead)
I like to have cats and dogs but to be honest yeah
probably some lesser used gameplay in my save since I have so many sims that adding pets feels overkill
the world, kind of meh for me, I don't really go there all that much besides when Dork needs vet
I feel like the problem is that its seaside but theres no open water areas since its older pack so I get frustrated
BB is very useful though using it all around since I build lots of older homes
vet career is kinda fun
but it spawns lots of randomized sims with randomized pets so I don't play it often
Realm of Magic
fun but also strangely underwhelming
Makin' Magic just left me with too high standards for magic packs I guess
I use RoM a lot yes but part of me is like ''there could be so much more and this is so sad'' everytime I do use it
so I feel weird to recommend it
same feelings about the world it drives me crazy with the driveways
and I just feel like there needed to be more activities to this pack
so even building the world I am so lost with what to do there
CAS and furniture though? pretty cool.
Spa Day
Never thought I'd use it much but I actually love this pack so much
being able to build all kinds of spas/meditation places/gyms in my worlds makes vacations more fun
and you could just as easily use the objects at your sims home if thats more your style
also I like how easy it is to keep my sims fit with yoga
the cas and build go well with other packs and get used quite a lot too
wholeheartedly recommend!
