This toddler is driving me insane!

Well, I think if you tried to play the seven toddler challenge you would do a lot of things you wouldn't do in real life. Your adult sim would be in for a rough ride. One is better then seven.
I agree. Forget the high chair. Put the food on the counter or on the floor and replace it when necessary. Let the little rascal feed himself.
One story houses work well with toddlers. It help you keep track when he desides to run off down the road naked or clothed on one of his adventures.
Start poddy training ASAP and keep at it until the kid figures it out.
It will all come together for you eventually.
