Thoughts on Strangerville?

I haven’t seen much on it but I’m interested in it so far. I have a lot of questions like is it supposed to be a virus outbreak? Will our main sims be affected or will it just be random npcs. I want my sim to have a chance to get infected and I don’t want the cure to come easy lol. Just my thoughts ?
