I'm... indifferent? If people like it, cool.
I only know one YouTuber from the lineup and I don't even watch all of their content. I don't follow a ton of "popular" simmers on YouTube to begin with though. 90% of the ones I enjoy have less than 10,000 subs and wouldn't be the "type" EA would go after to market their game.
It's new and exciting. It's something I've never seen done before, and maybe it'll be decent! From the trailer though, I feel like it might be a bit sensationalized and overly-acted, but I've been wrong about that sort of thing before. I don't know. I guess I'll let people be the judge once the show starts airing. I have zero interest in reality TV / competitions so I won't personally be watching it.
I've seen a lot of people saying EA could've done a lot more for the loyal fans with all of the resources they put into producing a reality show, but they're a multi billion dollar company... It's not the money or employees they invested into a game show that's bottle-necking them.
I guess we'll have to wait on better babies and less glitches. LOL
EDIT: I just wanted to add that I absolutely love Sims and will still spend entire days playing (heavily modded, but that's besides the point). I can be a huge fan and still have issues with the game and/or the company.
