Overall, the new kit assets, so far, seem nice. However, I really wish that these concepts were presented in stuff packs, instead of kits. The devs could have easily combined Secret Sanctuary & Casanova Cave into one stuff pack (“she-shed” + “man cave”). Moreover, IMHO the Casanova Cave concept, by itself, could have made an excellent stuff pack if expanded upon. TS4 needs a lot more nice, basic (not high fashion) clothing for male sims, & in addition to the furniture items already depicted, a stuff pack concept for Casanova Cave could have also included some of the following possible options for gameplay:
- Pool tables
- An air hockey table
- An indoor putting green
- New arcade machines and/or a new foosball table
- A new mini home microbrewer to make mead, nectar or juice
- The ability to play poker
- A portable & functional chess/checkers set that is not already built into a table
- a new video gaming set up
- A set of functional dumbbells
In general, I would rather have any of the larger DLC packs instead of kits. But, since kits appear to be here to stay, I would prefer to see CAS & BB assets remain separate in kits, instead of a hybrid mix. IMHO kits are too small to combine CAS & BB. If the devs are going to combine kit concepts, they should combine the elements of BB & gameplay kits.

This new version of the game is about making money off the DLC separately not combined unfortunately. I agree with you.
Billiards and Cars...living on boats and fishing off boats are all DLC that many simmers are waiting for. All of this new gameplay could come in the form of an EP, kits, or Packs. If Sims 4 was like the last version of the game(Sims 3), you would most likely be getting all this gameplay in one EP.

Yeah like living on boats should have been in island living years ago

Just don't buy them if they aren't what you want.

Kantar66 - I’m fully aware that I don’t have to buy the kits. However, that doesn’t mean that I can’t offer my feedback on them as well.

Sorry, didn't mean it that way. The only way EA will ever listen to our feedback and take action is by not purchasing the stuff we don't like. I've decided they don't deserve any more of my money because every time they add something new, they mess up something that was just fine before.
I didn't mean any disrespect for your opinion, just suggested that you do what I've decided. Stop giving EA money.
