Thunderstorms.

My Sims had their first thunderstorm, in summer.
They were either tense or sad about it, which is kind of realistic.
Small problem was when my toddler needed to go to bed, she kept getting "Run Inside" and interrupting the action que for either parent to read her to sleep. Just to be clear, she was already inside. It dragged bedtime out for ages which again, is realistic, but slightly annoying.

Then I not-really-intentionally tortured my poor Sim by sending her out to paint a mural in the pouring rain, so she could complete at least one of her work from home tasks as a critic. I think I might be lucky she didn't get hit by lightning.

You guys may need to repair your game to make sure everything works. As a rule of thumb do so after every patch and pack. A simple restart can sometimes work wonders as well.

There are no issues in my game with storms...other than I fear they will strike my Sims, especially the kid when she returns home from school. One day, it struck right in front of her and destroyed the stairs to the front door *wipes sweat*
  • I keep getting the Run Inside interaction when my sims are already inside too, very strange.
  • I have done a repair, my toddlers still get the “run inside” interaction when inside. No mods or cc.
  • I read about someone getting the "run inside" because their sim was in the basement. I've not seen this in my game, but rarely play a house with basement.
