Time to boycott?

Given the sheer amount of bugs and broken elements in the games, with all the fixes just causing more problems, the impending sale to the financial institution of a country with a terrible human rights record, and the rumours of a Sims subscription service that will likely be forced on players to still play the game, isn't it about time the fandom just said "enough is enough" and just stop buying Sims 4 packs and kits?

Using our collective power as consumers to actually make a statement, granted it'll most likely fall on deaf ears but any action is better than no action.

  • I already spoke with my own wallet as of 2 years ago. I have not bought a game at launch since 2010. With the Sims 4 and any dlc, I only pay what I believe it to be worth. I also don't get fomo, so I can wait until things are 50% off or more. I personally have not bought any dlc in the last 2 years. As a Gen Xer, I just worry about my own immediate family and life, so I don't boycott for silly reasons like the sale.
