Just before Horse Ranch came out, I switched to Sims 3. Then Sims 3 Store and Exchange went down at the same time a family member gifted me Horse Ranch, so I went back to Sims 4 a couple days ago.
I used a lot of Mods in Sims 3 and thought maybe I wanted similar mods in Sims 4. I was wrong. I deleted my whole Sims 4 document folder this morning and started over. I am back to vanilla for Sims 4. They are different games with different strengths and weaknesses. Trying to make the games more like each other just breaks them both.
It is okay if I cannot do something I want to do in a game, especially if I can do it in the other. Sometimes I need to just tolerate my disappointment in a game instead of trying to fix it.
