TIMING!!! IT'S ALL ABOUT TIMING! AND IT'S A PROBLEM

Does anyone else notice that, sometimes, it feels like the sims pause longer when you speed up the clock to get them through activities faster? They often seem to stand and stare off in the distance doing nothing at all when I have several actions lined up for them.
