To avoid alien abduction:
I just experienced my first in this game - Ethan was going outside to "Investigate". No - no! What I did was type in testingcheats on - and then shift click your sim, and press the top one "reset"....

Yep I can agree on this... I played since the release and could download the game on March 30th from Origin. But yet I did not have any abduction, except once with a female who got not impregnated... :( I had the same problem with The Sims 3 btw. I had so much trouble to get the abductions going. No idea why this always happens on my machine... Reading about 5-6 abductions makes me wonder as well, what's wrong with my game?
