Hi, @wickichick. I play the Sims 3 just fine on Windows 10. I got back into it about a week ago — and IT'S AMAZING. ☆゚.*:・。゚
If you've registered The Sims 3 before, then it will be saved on your Origin account. This surprised me very much. The last time I had played The Sims 3 was in 2014 on a different machine that I don't own anymore.
The game runs smoothly on my laptop, too, on the mechanical HDD. My laptop is from 2015. Try it. :)
