Toddler can't interact with fathers family?

Question

When my toddlers dad's family come over, he can't interact with them. The only option that comes up is "send home." They don't interact with him either. Makes it hard for him to build relationships with his Aunt and grandparents. The toddler age was the best start. Is this happening to anyone else?

Yeah, it almost seems like it might make sense, but the "talk to stranger" option doesn't even appear with the extended family when this happens.

A workaround for now that you can use is to play as the the aunt and grandparents' household for a minute, go visit the toddler, and have the aunt and grandparents introduce themselves to the toddler. Then the toddler will be able to interact with them normally the next time you play as the toddler's household.

I wish there was a scroll cheat activated with relationships when using the main cheat. When i dont have mccc installed I'll move the tot in with extended family so they at least know each other.
