It is just random). When I try to change them to make them look a bit more like their parents, their eyes often change if I use those outfits the game already have prepared for players to chose.
It's a bit annoying; but at least an easy fix.
Are the parents mermaids or one of the parents is? Because mermaid genetics are broken.
