Umm why would you buy a pack revolved around vampires if you don't want vampires in the game?
That's not a valid argument. My boyfriend plays the sims too and he wants vampires so we got the pack. I hate vampires but am now stuck with them in my game. A toggle would have been great. Hoping the MC Command Center adds this option as they did with aliens.
That is a valid argument and if you bought it to please someone then that is your business if you don't like vampires. A toggle might make the vampires less then they are that isn't acceptable to me. I bought the pack because I wanted vampires.
It won't change anything for you if you don't click on the toggle.
And a toggle won't change vampire too, it will just stop the game to create new one, even if you click on the toggle, the vampire you already have in your game will continue to live their lives and break into your sims house to feed.
Honestly, what you are writing make me feel like you didn't understand the toggle stuff :/
When we ask for a toggle, we ask for an option in the gameplay something like "autonomous generated vampire townie on/off", we don't ask the dev to do the same thing that they has done with alien (not at all, i didn't like it, way to hard to get abducted now, even harder to end up pregnant). Like that it's up to the player to decide, and you don't change anything to the game if you don't change the option.
Off course if they do the same kind of toggle that they have done with alien i'm totally against, i want the choice to turn on or off the autonomous vampire generation, not the vampire themselves.
I think you're the one who doesn't undersrtand the toggle, no offense intended at all.
Vampires are completely intergrated into the game like never seen before. The new world cannot function without vampires, it is specifically designed to spawn them.
Vampires are coded to generate if Vlad dies or is removed to fulfill his role, there are also break ins etc.
The way its designed is if you dont want vampires, dont interact with them. That means delete the premades, dont visit forgotten hollow, dont talk to vampires, dont study vampire lore.
You will still see a vampire here and there at night, but they should RARELY break into your house, and far less will be generated. If you interact with vampires it shows youre interested.
If you want absolutely zero vamps then people need to not purchase.
This isnt going to change, as pointed out by a guru. The guru himself stated it would cause alot of issues as vamps are deep into the code.
