Toilet's Starting On Fire?

I thought you could upgrade normal toilets to make them compost toilets that could possibly catch fire. Could you have done this by accident?

No, It's not a roof but the toilet again and they were going to let her burn if I hadn't extinguished her. Picture taken at a house party in Sulani. This recently happened after my first response.

Oh, my why did she have her foot in the toilet? Was she trying to tamp out the fire that way? I'm so very grateful I've never experienced this kind of fire. Yikes! Great pictures, by the way.

I learned when you upgrade your toilet's to treat them as compost they will catch fire. I guess this is an eco lifestyle feature. You have to buy an insect box to put toilet compost in. That's suppose to stop the fires. You have to buy a whole new toilet to get rid of the upgrades.

I don't know if this is a bug or gameplay. I have a sim in the political career, she lives in Del Sol Valley. She became enemy's with comedian Dave Chapelle by chance cards. Then her toilet caught fire twice when she tried to use it and I thought someone was just trying to kill her because she was in politics.

I saw this recently happen in one of my other sims homes but I forgot who.

Right? Someone could ask "Oh how'd you die?" --- "Oh I died by toilet fire" lol

But yeah I've noticed this in my game as well. Lots of fires occuring in bathroom but it's with the toilets that shouldn't be able to catch fire. Must be a glitch I guess. Annoying though. I never liked the eco ones which is why I have regular but now they're affected as well.

I think I just caught the pose at the right time where it looks like her foot is in the toilet. The sims just jump around until you extinguish them.

It's like the old Eco Lifestyle issue where toilets are automatically behaving like composting toilets. Delete the toilet and buy a new one and it will probably stop.
