Recently the rental units info totally overshadowed the new world! I almost forgot that we're getting a new playground with a new culture. In my game this will be part of the same empire that Mt. Komorebi, and I'm currious to see if anything can be used by both those packs or if their cultures come off as very diverse. I guess it's totally up to each simmer... hopefully the sanctuary will give us some features that can be used in other worlds, too!
People can definitely come up with whatever head canon they like. But for point of comparison, in real life Japan is roughly the same distance from Thailand as Scotland is from Greece, or Santa Fe is from Boston. So, fair to say, the cultures are a bit different, except to the extent that that the whole world has become somewhat homogenized in recent decades.
