- I liked what I've seen so far. One of the first thoughts I had was how this world would make a nice addition to the backstory of Liberty Lee in my story. Her parents grew up in Willow Creek and they raised her there, but it could be where her grandparents or great-grandparents came from. I had the idea a while back make them from Mt. Komorebi but I wanted someplace more tropical and now I have it.? I can't wait to see more in the livestream.

Beautiful looking world, personally I'd use it for vacations and find the rental theme odd. Hotels would have made this a must buy but the landlord aspect leaves me cold.
There's a reason why my post in the negative thread is just "landlords." I despise them that much and the fantasy of being a "good" one is not a selling point for me. Even if it makes sense for certian Sims and I already have lots that would work as multi-family ones. I'm fine with just working around the Discover University roommate system.
As for me personally, the selling point would be world and traits and Gregarious just overlaps a bit too much with Good and the world, while nice looking and fills a cultural aspect that's nice doesn't immedately hook me in. - Sara1010p2 years agoSeasoned AceI am not really feeling this world, I mean it looks ok, but not what I really prefer. I can see myself using it possibly as a vacation destination, but not a residential world for my Sims.
- SEREFRAS2 years agoLegendI'm hoping it's bigger than it looks & that it has at least 12 lots. I'm also hoping that the big beautiful mystery building isn't a shell.
- Simmerville2 years agoLegendIn my save I have 2 kingdoms and 1 empire. I mainly play Mazaloom kingdom, while Sea kingdom and Empire of Snorthia are more for foreign relations and vacations etc. Still, I have played worlds in both of the latter, and Tomarang will be a location in one of those. I basically thought it would be perfect in Empire of Snorthia, which already includes Mt. Komorebi and is based on Asian cultures. But from some pictures of the new world it looks rather tropical, and my Sea kingdom already includes Sulani and Selvadorada. Now I am no longer so sure where Tomarang will be a better addition...? I guess there could be tropical climate in Snorthia as well as in Sea, but I need to see more from Tomarang to decide. I also need to see whether the main water body is a lake/river or the ocean, because my original plan was placing Tomarang on the map in an inland area. A lake would be perfect, but if we see open ocean, it need to go elsewhere...
- barisaxy2 years agoRising AceI appreciate representing more cultures, but I personally just can't with tropical worlds. They're so boring to play for me, as they don't have seasons.
So, if I ever get this EP, I will be playing its features in a different world. - PandoraTO2 years agoSeasoned Ace

I had to double-check because I'm pretty sure Gregarious is already a reward trait for finishing one of the social aspirations, so you had me worried there for a second. Sure enough, the new trait in For Rent is Generous, not Gregarious. "DaWaterRat;c-18322999" wrote:
I know people are going to disagree with me, but I honestly think that the Animal Sanctuary being a Rabbit Hole (which I'm almost certain it is) is actually a good thing.
First and foremost, it means that the animal sanctuary will neither be a drain on system resources nor effectively empty of sims except for the ones you bring. Even if they increased the 20 sims limit, having all those animals about would probably force the game to cut down on the number of sims that show up.
Second, it means that we get more assets for the city/build-buy/CAS, because they didn't have to create and animate the animals in the sanctuary. I know a lot of people think that the packs should just be given the budget to have everything that we (the players) think should be in the pack, but that's not how it works. There's a fixed maximum of assets and systems and work hours assigned to a pack based on its size, and while I'd certainly love animals, I don't want them enough for other assets to be removed in exchange.
Now, all that said, there may be ways they could get around it, and at least one developer on the pack has a history of getting more into a pack than previously thought possible. And if they did make it actually visitable, I'd love it. But I'm not expecting it, and I can certainly understand why they would make the choice to leave the Animal Sanctuary as a rabbit hole. And in the long run, I'm okay with it.
Sadly, I think this makes a lot of sense. And the fact that nothing in the blog post that mentions it talks about interacting with animals or having a new career etc. makes it seem even more likely. Plus zero animals shown in the trailer -- I'd think they'd be hyping this feature if we could actually see animals.- Simmerville2 years agoLegendI too think there would be at least a hint to animals in the trailer/cover art if they are a feature. That said, a sim in the trailer do some "tiger claw" movements with her hands, aaand the pack is not necessarily 100% done yet, so maybe there is one animal but not ready for a show off yet.
- Horrorgirl62 years agoSeasoned AceI think my issue with the world it looks too much like San Sequea and look much like a town.
