Hm, I can not say that this was a problem in my game... I might have run into some familiar faces at the cantina and museum, but not while exploring the jungle. In fact, I have been thinking it would be awesome if my sim actually met someone, perhaps it would turn into a romance... I strongly dislike that the secret temple is decorated for various Seasons, though, but that is a different cup...
