And if you don't like the game in its present form then why not go and find another game to play and come back to this one if something is released that you like?
Because that would be a fallacy. If we were to just play a different game (and there are definitely many people that are, myself included) and not criticize and talk about why some of us have problems with TS4, then this would shut down critical thinking and not address what the OP stated.
What I'm curious about is why so many folks I speak to don't seem to understand just how valuable criticism is as I see this kind of comment at least once a week.
Anyway, while I don't really pay attention to any of this, I'm not dissatisfied with how they handle how much content they put out. It's just instead of EPs being released every 6 months, they're released once a year to make room for GPs, a kind of pack
we never had in previous Sim titles, as far as I'm aware. Since GPs have been doing very well in many people's eyes, myself included as I bought all of them except Dine Out, I don't see a problem with EPs taking a year to develop. That's fine. As I understand it, to make room for GPs, they had to make an entirely new team for that, taking some of them away from EPs. Unless I'm wrong, as I said, I don't pay much attention to this.
However, why they're so silent on future content is something I don't understand, if it's true that the Devs used to talk a lot about what they were planning to make in the past. I remember when they annouced that the last pack for TS3 would be a future-themed pack. What made them willing to annouce that that they can't do with TS4 is something I want answered. The most we get is people asking for a pack to be made, (usually Witches in my experience) and Grant answering: "We know".
I think part of the silence is Kate's disappearance, though, being the community manager. Haven't seen a message from her in a month now.
