Tourist sightseeing stops?

We got so ma ny worlds now that I randomly run into a place that I barely recall to have sen in the past, but forgot existed. This is one example, in Mt. Komorebi:

In my game I have a traveling agency called "Way 2 Go". It's been around ever since TS2, but I did not pay much attention to it lately. Arranging tours with a tour guide (club system is perfect for signing up), is actually a fun activity and it might be time to make new destinations beyond Sulani and Selvadorada.

So, please share any small (or big) sightseeing venues you think might be interesting to a visiting group. Some might be hisorical, others mystical, but they all should be rather secluded or not so well known to anyone from other worlds, or at least make for a good photo.

  • First I thought there is a lot.. but then I read your text more carefully and you mentioned visitable places..  and suddenly my mind went blank 😅 I mean there are lots of gems like this but not visitable by sims.

Here few what came to my mind.. sorry these most likely are obvious 🙃

This falls under "Mystical" , In one past save, it was a old tomb of a famous vampirehunter (who also was a werebeast) . In Forgotten Hollow.

Then... better yet if you can build there? then of course these in Windenburg... again obvious, but I havent played in Windenburg for literally years, and keep forgetting these are a thing.. Blufffs and Ruins.

Also this handy picnic spot at forest side of Wburg... Who knows maybe those ruins were once something important??

And of course HOB and this:

  • Windenburg is great for sight seeing and playing as a tourist, but then it is one of the most well made worlds they have, as the previous post shows.

Mt Komorebi is also good, with its bamboo forest and many shrines to visit.

Brindleton Bay has the lighthouse and the pet cemetary - which is conveniently close to a museum.

Del Sol Valley has the road with the famous plaques, the view in the pinnacles, possibly going to see the houses where famous people live if that is your thing.

Sulani mostly has beaches, but also the waterfall and (if clean) the turtle hatching.

Tartosa has the tree and the funny face in the water, possibly the square (though horrible opening hours).

    Selvadorada the temple

And don't forget that you can make your own sights. I built a cathedral and roman bath in Windenburg when my sims were honeymooning there, and I've built a botanical garden in San Myshuno and a little town square in Glimmerbrook - so build your own sites as well.
